radionice-tivat-april-2011EXPEDITIO is a partner of the municipalities of Tivat, sovaldi sale Herceg Novi and Kotor in the process of creation of local programmes for the development of culture in these municipalities for the period 2011-2015. The creation of these programmes is an obligation arising from the Law on Culture of Montenegro and is envisaged in the National Programme for Development of Culture. They should reflect the long term needs of the local inhabitants and cultural institutions/organizations, development priorities, dynamics of realization, financial and administrative measures for their implementation.

In the period of April 4-8, municipalities of Tivat and Kotor and EXPEDITIO organized round tables, aiming to ensure active participation of all interested stakeholders. Various interested stakeholders participated in the round tables,  according to the following schedule:

KOTOR, Centre for culture:

  • Music (traditional manifestations, festivals, creativity...)- Monday, April 4. 2011. in 17.00h
  • Literature, publishing and theatre activity - Monday, April 4. 2011. in 19.00h
  • Cultural heritage and landscape (built, tangible, documentary, museum, intangible)- Tuesday, April 5. 2011 in 17.00h
  • Architecture and urban planning- Tuesday, April 5. 2011 in 19.00h
  • Fine arts, film, video, new media and photography - Friday, April 8. 2011 in 11.0h

 

TIVAT, Municipality of Tivat:

  • Cultural heritage and landscape (built, tangible, documentary, museum, spiritual), Architecture and urban planning- Wednesday, April 6. 2011, in 17.00h
  • Music (traditional manifestations, festivals, creativity...)- Wednesday, April 6. 2011, in 19h
  • Fine arts, film, video, new media and photography - Thursday, April 7. 2011 in 17.00h
  • Literature, publishing and theatre activity - Thursday, April 7. 2011 in 19.00h

 

The following issues will be discussed for each subject:

1. City identities, how to mark them (identity markers)

2. Strategic challenges which should be addressed

3. Most important (strategic) problems regarding the culture in the specific cities

4. Possible strategic goals for the next period

EXPEDITIO activities are conducted as part of the project SOSTENUTO. This project is co-financed by the European Regional Development Fund and the Instrument for Pre-accession Assistance and managed in Montenegro by the Delegation of the European Union.
